Fábio Luís Lula da Silva selected luxury whisky for New Year's Eve

Audio recordings from December 2024 reveal that Fábio Luís Lula da Silva, known as Lulinha, selected luxury Macallan Scotch whisky for a New Year's Eve celebration in a Brasília mansion. The order, totaling R$ 17,925, was placed by lobbyist Roberta Luchsinger through her company, RL Consultoria, via Pix payment.

The beverage order included five bottles of Macallan (15-year, 12-year Sherry Oak, and 12-year Double Cask) and 12 bottles of Taittinger Brut Réserve champagne. Luchsinger indicated in the audio that the decision to spend the holiday in Brasília was due to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva remaining in the capital.

Lulinha is currently the subject of three Supreme Federal Court (STF) inquiries. These investigations involve allegations of influence peddling within the Ministry of Health and Dataprev, as well as payments made by Luchsinger to individuals close to the President. Luchsinger has also reportedly covered other expenses for Lulinha, including a trip to Finland.
