Fábio Trad meets with Santa Casa directors regarding hospital funding

Fábio Trad, a candidate for the governorship of Mato Grosso do Sul, met with the board of directors at Santa Casa de Campo Grande to discuss the institution's financial and operational challenges.

During the meeting, hospital directors presented data regarding high patient volumes in contrast to the level of public funding received. Trad criticized the current state and municipal governments for insufficient funding and a lack of effective medical decentralization, noting that the failure to regionalize healthcare causes ambulances from the interior to overcrowd the capital daily.

Trad stated that health would be a central pillar of his government plan, alongside security and education. He proposed that necessary investments would be funded through financial reengineering, focusing on combating corruption and reducing commissioned positions.
