FC Alverca defeats CD Nacional 3-1 in Liga Portugal

FC Alverca defeated CD Nacional 3-1 at the Estádio da Madeira during the 6th round of Liga Portugal Betclic. Alverca established a dominant lead in the first half with goals from Chissumba in the 34th minute and two goals from Dawda Camara in the 37th and 42nd minutes.

CD Nacional attempted a comeback in the second half, with Matchoi Daló scoring an acrobatic goal in the 81st minute following a header by Obando. Despite the late goal, Nacional was unable to close the gap. The loss leaves Nacional in 13th place in the standings with four points.

Following the match, Nacional coach Alexandre Santos, making his debut in charge of the team, described the defeat as a learning experience. He noted that the team lost concentration during the first half, allowing Alverca to take control, but praised the squad's reaction and effort during the second half.
