FC Andorra coach Carles Manso calls for reality check

FC Andorra coach Carles Manso has issued a stern critique of his team following a 2-3 defeat against Burgos. Manso admitted that the squad is currently not prepared to compete at a higher level and emphasized the need to focus on the fight for permanence in the Second Division.

Addressing the team's recent performance, Manso noted that while the players demonstrate technical quality and a clear playing style, they are being penalized by defensive errors and a failure to be practical in duels. He stressed that simply controlling possession is insufficient in this division and called for a greater commitment to winning individual battles and avoiding the gifting of goals.

Despite the recent struggles, Manso indicated that he has spoken with the players to provide a ‘touch of attention’ regarding their recent form. He described the squad as conscious of the situation and focused ahead of their upcoming Copa del Rei match against CD Varea.
