FC Andorra defeats AD Ceuta 5-1 in season opener

FC Andorra opened their Segunda División season with a dominant 5-1 victory against AD Ceuta at the Nou Estadi in Encamp. Despite heavy rain, the home side controlled much of the match.

Jordi Cano, making his professional debut, scored the opening goal in the 33rd minute following a backheel assist from Carrique. Carrique later doubled the lead with a low shot. Nacho Quintana contributed a brace, capitalizing on defensive errors to bring the score to 4-1, while Álex Calvo added a fifth goal in the closing stages. AD Ceuta's lone goal was scored by Jordi Escobar in the 86th minute.

The match highlighted the performance of several new signings for Andorra, including Hugo Solozábal and Stefan Golubovic, who hit the crossbar during the first half.
