FC Arkadag defeats FC Goa 3-0 to advance in AFC Champions League Two

FC Arkadag secured a place in the AFC Champions League Two 2026-27 group stage following a 3-0 victory over India’s FC Goa in the preliminary stage. The match took place at the Arkadag Stadium in Turkmenistan before a sold-out crowd of 10,000 spectators.

After a scoreless first half, FC Arkadag scored three goals within a 17-minute window during the second half. Meylis Diniyew opened the scoring in the 58th minute, followed by a goal from Rahman Myratberdiyew in the 65th minute. Arzuwguly Sapargulyyew completed the win with a free-kick in the 75th minute.

The defeat results in FC Goa’s relegation to the AFC Challenge League, the third tier of Asian club football.
