FC Augsburg to replace injured Anton Kade with loanee Arijon Ibrahimovic

FC Augsburg attacker Anton Kade will miss the upcoming away match against Eintracht Frankfurt due to a muscle injury. Kade, who had been a key player in the team's recent 3-0 victory over Schalke, had to stop training on Wednesday.

To replace Kade, Augsburg has turned to 20-year-old Arijon Ibrahimovic, who joined the club on loan from FC Bayern Munich just before the transfer deadline. Coach Manuel Baum described Ibrahimovic as a player who functions as a 'number ten tending towards a nine,' similar to Kade's role.

Augsburg management, including CEO Michael Ströll and Sporting Director Benjamin Weber, had reportedly been interested in Ibrahimovic for some time. Despite interest from other Bundesliga clubs like Union Berlin and Werder Bremen, Augsburg secured the loan deal to bolster their offensive options.
