FC Barcelona reports historic €1 billion annual revenue
FC Barcelona has reported a historic financial milestone, surpassing €1 billion in annual revenue for the first time in the club's history. This achievement, driven by ordinary operations, marks the third consecutive season of positive financial results, signaling a significant recovery from previous economic challenges.
Key drivers of this growth include increased revenue from stadium exploitation following the partial return to Spotify Camp Nou, record sales of club merchandise via BLM, and growth in sponsorship deals. Despite playing some matches at reduced capacity or at alternative venues like the Johan Cruyff and Olympic Stadiums, the club nearly met its original budget projections.
The club's General Assembly is scheduled for September 19 to ratify these accounts and the budget for the 2026/27 season. Members will also vote on critical financial matters, including an expansion of credit lines to fund the Espai Barça project and the completion of the Spotify Camp Nou.
Additionally, the assembly will consider several commercial contracts: a concession with Babylon Park Spain SL to install an indoor children's amusement park at the stadium facilities, and an agreement with Ohana Real Estate Development and Construction LLC to develop a luxury residential complex in the United Arab Emirates using the Barça brand.
