FC Barcelona documentary explores Camp Nou renovation

Movistar Plus has released a new 53-minute documentary titled ‘El Camp Nou: bienvenidos al estadio’, which explores a unique period in FC Barcelona's history. The film focuses on the club's absence from its home stadium following the final match held at the Spotify Camp Nou in May 2023, and its subsequent relocation to the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Montjuïc.

The production details the ongoing transformation of the Camp Nou into Europe's largest stadium, with a planned capacity of 105,000 spectators. It features exclusive access to the club and testimonies from prominent figures including Leo Messi, Pep Guardiola, Luis Enrique, Hansi Flick, Lamine Yamal, and Alexia Putellas.

Beyond the physical construction, the documentary examines the club's competitive challenges during its time away from home and highlights the arrival of Hansi Flick as a potential turning point for the team's performance and confidence.
