FC Barcelona extends Hamza Abdelkarim contract until 2030

FC Barcelona has officially announced a contract extension for Egyptian striker Hamza Abdelkarim, securing his future with the club until June 30, 2030. The signing ceremony is scheduled to take place next Tuesday at the office of club president Joan Laporta.

Abdelkarim, who joined Barcelona from Egypt's Al Ahly, has seen a significant rise in profile following impressive performances during the pre-season and recent league play. Reports indicate the new deal includes an improved salary and a release clause set at 150 million euros.

While the club intends to keep the player within the reserve team roster for the current season to ensure consistent playing time, he remains available for selection by first-team coach Hansi Flick as needed.
