FC Barcelona manages squad updates and transfer speculation

FC Barcelona is making significant moves regarding its squad under manager Hansi Flick. Brazilian forward Raphinha is set to sign a new four-year contract with the club following a highly successful period where he has emerged as a team leader. Despite recent minor muscle swelling in his right thigh, Raphinha is expected to be available for upcoming matches after scoring 14 goals and providing three assists in eight games this season.

In transfer speculation, former German national team sporting director Oliver Bierhoff has suggested that Liverpool midfielder Florian Wirtz could thrive at Barcelona. Bierhoff believes the environment created by Hansi Flick would allow Wirtz to regain his top form. However, a move remains difficult due to Liverpool's desire to recoup a large portion of his 125 million euro transfer fee and Barcelona's current financial constraints.
