FC Barcelona marks Champions League debut with goal and captaincy

FC Barcelona recently competed in their Champions League debut against Feyenoord. During the match, Gabriel Jesus scored his first goal for the club, becoming the fourth Brazilian player to score in the tournament. Lamine Yamal also marked a milestone by serving as captain for the first time.

Defensive player Eric García missed the Champions League opener due to a UEFA suspension. However, he is expected to return for the upcoming match against Levante in Valencia. Despite his return, the squad faces availability challenges, as players such as Frenkie de Jong and Roony Bardghji remain sidelined due to injury.
