FC Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has confirmed that midfielder Rodri experienced physical discomfort during the team's 3-0 victory against Aston Villa. The player reported issues to the coaching staff during the halftime break, leading to a preventive substitution. Marc Bernal replaced him on the pitch.

Flick stated that Rodri is experiencing minor discomfort in his right hamstring.
