FC Barcelona officials meet with Limak Holding regarding stadium works

FC Barcelona officials held high-level meetings in Istanbul with Limak Holding, the construction firm responsible for the Spotify Camp Nou project. President Joan Laporta and his delegation met with Limak Holding President and CEO Ebru Özdemir to discuss the final stages of the stadium works.

A key focus of the discussions was the ‘Big Lift’—the installation of the roof—scheduled to begin in June. This phase represents the final major obstacle before the club can open the third tier and aim for a full stadium inauguration in 2028.

While the construction process has previously been marked by tensions regarding economic issues and penalty clauses, these recent bilateral meetings were described as constructive and cordial, with both parties seeking to cooperate to complete the project as soon as possible.
