FC Barcelona outlines pre-season plans amid transfer rumors
Barcelona's senior football side is the subject of intense transfer speculation. Reports suggest Brazilian winger Raphinha may be sold for around €100 million, while French forward Ousmane Dembélé is linked with a lucrative move to Saudi club Al‑Hilal, a deal that could make him one of the highest‑paid athletes. Dembélé, whose contract runs to 2028, is reportedly being courted despite his intention to stay.
Meanwhile, Barcelona's futsal team has announced its pre‑season programme. Medical examinations begin on 3 August, followed by a training stage in Encamp, Andorra, from 3–7 August. The squad will then train in Barcelona before travelling to Valdepeñas for the "Mucho Más" tournament on 15–16 August. Friendlies are scheduled against FC Kyiv on 20 August and Peñíscola on 22 August. The team will compete in the Copa Catalunya semifinals on 28–29 August and will host the Spanish Supercopa on 5–6 September. New signings include Brazilian pivot Higory and French player Souheil Mouhoudine, with Javi Rodríguez continuing as head coach.
