FC Barcelona reports 18 million euro loss despite record revenue
FC Barcelona is set to present its financial accounts to members at an assembly on September 19, reporting a net loss of 18 million euros for the 2025-26 season. Despite this loss, the club achieved record revenues of 1.06 billion euros.
The deficit is largely attributed to extraordinary items rather than ordinary operations. Specifically, the club had to account for the depreciation of Barça Productions, which saw a value reduction of 23 million euros. Without these extraordinary effects, the club reports that the balance would have been nearly equal, with losses limited to approximately 2 million euros.
Additionally, the club's total debt rose to 607 million euros, a 29% increase from the previous year's 469 million euros. Members will also vote on various refinancing operations intended to secure funding for ongoing projects, including the final stages of work at the Spotify Camp Nou.
