FC Barcelona schedules Morocco friendly and eyes women's team signing
The FC Barcelona board met under deputy president Rafael Yuste, with president Joan Laporta absent, to discuss several club matters. The agenda included holding a single ordinary members' assembly, finalising the accounts for the 2025‑26 season and approving the 2026‑27 budget.
The club confirmed plans for a men's first‑team friendly in Tangier, Morocco, on 15 August, and a women's team friendly against Manchester City on the same date. It also announced an imminent signing for the women’s squad: Brazilian forward Kerolin Nicoli, currently with Manchester City.
Additionally, the board examined a proposal to merge the Barça Atlètic structure with the first team to achieve a more streamlined management approach.
