FC Barcelona scouts monitor Bo Hegland

FC Barcelona scouts are reportedly monitoring Djurgårdens IF attacking midfielder Bo Hegland for potential future transfer opportunities. Despite the current transfer window being closed, representatives from the Spanish club were observed attending a match in Stockholm between Djurgårdens IF and GAIS Göteborg to evaluate the 22-year-old Norwegian player.

Hegland recently made headlines by equaling the Allsvenskan record with his 15th assist of the season. In the match attended by scouts, he contributed to both goals in a 2-0 victory, recording one assist and scoring one goal. His current season statistics include eight goals and 15 assists in 21 league appearances.

Competition for the player is significant. Newcastle United scouts were also present at the match, and Hegland previously rejected an offer from RSC Anderlecht. The player is currently under contract with Djurgårdens IF until December 31, 2029.
