Emir Spahić monitors Barcelona talent Mirza Ćatović

Emir Spahić, the sporting director for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team, was recently seen in Barcelona monitoring the performance of 19-year-old midfielder Mirza Ćatović. Ćatović, a left-footed player standing 193 cm tall, recently moved from VfB Stuttgart to FC Barcelona on a loan deal worth 600,000 euros, which includes an option to purchase the player for between 5 and 10 million euros depending on performance targets.

Due to his heritage, Ćatović is eligible to represent Germany, Serbia, or Bosnia and Herzegovina. While he has previously appeared for German youth national teams, reports suggest he is currently leaning toward representing Bosnia and Herzegovina.
