FC Barcelona targets Nico Schlotterbeck and promotes Hamza Abdelkarim

FC Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has expressed strong enthusiasm for 18-year-old Egyptian forward Hamza Abdelkarim. Following a convincing pre-season where Abdelkarim scored four goals, the club has secured his future by extending his contract until 2030. Flick noted that the youngster offers a unique profile that differs from the current attacking options in the squad.

In addition to developing young talent, Barcelona is targeting Borussia Dortmund defender Nico Schlotterbeck to strengthen their central defense. Flick views the 26-year-old German international as a priority due to his left-footed ability to play out from the back.
