FC Barcelona targets Nicolò Tresoldi amid transfer window strategy

FC Barcelona is actively managing its transfer window strategy, focusing on generating financial liquidity through player sales to fund key acquisitions. The club aims to raise approximately 50 million euros via the departures of players such as Tommy Marqués, Héctor Fort, and potentially Marc Casadó, Alejandro Balde, or others, to facilitate new signings.

A primary target for the club's attack has been Julián Álvarez from Atlético Madrid, though negotiations have proven difficult as Atlético is reportedly unwilling to sell directly to Barcelona. As an alternative, the club has pivoted toward Nicolò Tresoldi, a 22-year-old striker from Club Brugge. Tresoldi, who has the support of manager Hansi Flick, is viewed as a high-potential option, though Club Brugge is expected to demand a fee between 40 and 50 million euros.

In defense, Barcelona is also linked to Sporting CP's Gonçalo Inácio as a priority reinforcement. Additionally, reports suggest Alejandro Balde may be nearing a move to Manchester United as he seeks new challenges outside of the Camp Nou.
