FC Barcelona Women Launch Preseason with Three New Signings

FC Barcelona’s women’s team held its first pre‑season training session on 28 July 2026 at the Joan Gamper Sports City. The squad featured all first‑team players except captain Aitana Bonmatí, who continues rehabilitation for an ankle injury.

The club announced three new arrivals for the senior side: defender Renee van Asten, goalkeeper Tyler McCamey from the United States, and midfielder Martina Fernández returning from Everton. In addition, Canadian goalkeeper Khadijah Cissé signed a contract with Barça B, joining the senior training.

Barcelona’s schedule includes a pre‑season friendly against Montpellier on 12 August at the Johan Cruyff Stadium as it prepares to defend its domestic and European titles.
