FC Basel loses 3-0 to Vaduz in Jokanovic debut

FC Basel suffered a significant 3-0 defeat against FC Vaduz in the debut match of new head coach Slavisa Jokanovic. The loss marks a difficult start for the Serbian manager, who is the first Serbian coach to lead the Swiss club.

Vaduz secured the victory primarily through a strong first-half performance. Marcel Monsberger scored twice in the 26th and 36th minutes, following an assist from Lutfi Dalipi. Dalipi later added a third goal to finalize the scoreline.

Basel's defensive struggles were a focal point of the match, as the team struggled to contain Vaduz's attacks despite several saves from goalkeeper Jonas Omlin. This defeat leaves Basel in seventh place with 17 points, having lost four of their last five league matches.
