Jamal Musiala diagnosed with neurological condition after pitch collapses
Bayern Munich player Jamal Musiala has revealed he has been diagnosed with brief, temporary absence seizures caused by a neurological dysfunction. This news follows two alarming incidents where the 23-year-old collapsed on the pitch during recent friendly matches against RB Leipzig and 1. FC Heidenheim.
Musiala addressed the situation on social media, stating, “I am incredibly grateful for your messages and your support! I understand that many of you are worried.” He clarified that the condition is treatable and that he is receiving excellent medical care, adding that there is no further health risk involved. He expressed his desire to continue playing football as part of his recovery process.
Separately, Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has indicated that contract renewal discussions are expected to begin shortly. With his current deal set to expire in the summer of 2027, Kane noted that both he and the club are approaching the negotiations with a sense of calm.
