FC Bayern München negotiates contract extension for Michael Olise

FC Bayern München is working to secure a long-term contract extension for French forward Michael Olise. The club aims to elevate his current salary, which is approximately €14 million per season, toward the club's top wage bracket of €25 million per year.

While Olise's current contract runs until 2029 and lacks a release clause, reports suggest his representatives may push for one in the new agreement. Bayern board member Max Eberl has clarified that the club currently holds the advantage due to the absence of such a clause, though the club may consider a provision to ward off interest from Premier League or other major European clubs. If a release clause is granted, reports indicate the club intends to set the minimum value at €200 million.

Eberl stated that the club intends to clarify Olise's long-term intentions by next summer. Despite rumors linking the player to clubs like Real Madrid and Liverpool, Bayern maintains they have received no concrete offers and remain focused on squad competitiveness for the Champions League.
