FC Bayern München seeks Viessmann as new investor
FC Bayern München is reportedly in discussions to sell an additional 5 percent stake in its AG for approximately 250 million euros. According to reports from Kicker, honorary president Uli Hoeneß is actively working to secure the heating technology company Viessmann as a new investor.
If the deal is finalized, Viessmann would become the fourth major shareholder alongside Adidas, Audi, and Allianz, which each hold 8.33 percent. This would bring the total external shareholding to 30 percent. While negotiations have been described as being in the final stages, no formal agreement has been reached, and specific financial details remain unconfirmed. The club aims to potentially present the deal at its annual general meeting by November 21.
