FC Bayern München advances contract extension for Max Eberl

FC Bayern München is undergoing significant personnel and squad restructuring. The club's presidential committee has reportedly given the green light for a contract extension for sporting director Max Eberl. While the final decision rests with the nine-member supervisory board, a meeting is scheduled for August 25 to formalize the move. Eberl has reportedly regained significant trust within the club following a successful transfer period.

In terms of squad development, Bayern has officially signed 18-year-old Senegalese midfielder Bara Sapoko Ndiaye on a permanent contract through June 2031. Ndiaye, who previously joined on loan from Gambinos Stars Africa, is viewed as a key part of the club's long-term strategy to rejuvenate the midfield.

Regarding player departures, the club is navigating several transfer negotiations. Joao Palhinha is a primary candidate for departure, with Aston Villa showing interest; however, Bayern is seeking a fee of approximately 30 million euros. Additionally, defender Minjae Kim has also drawn interest from Aston Villa. For future planning, the club is monitoring Morgan Gibbs-White as a potential long-term successor to Michael Olise.
