Nathaniel Brown near Bayern Munich move as fee drops to €55 million
German left‑back Nathaniel Brown is reportedly on the verge of completing a transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt to Bayern Munich. Negotiations have accelerated, and the expected fee has been revised down from around €65 million to roughly €55 million, with details on guaranteed sums and possible bonuses still being finalised.
Brown, 22, is said to have agreed personal terms with Bayern and could sign a contract running until 2031. The move would make him Bayern’s fifth‑most expensive signing and Frankfurt’s most valuable sale to date. Bayern are also planning to offload several players – Min‑jae Kim, Hiroki Ito, Alexander Nübel, Sacha Boey, João Palhinha and Bryan Zaragoza – to fund the purchase. The signing may affect the future of current left‑back Alphonso Davies, who has been linked with a possible departure.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed Brown’s intention to join Munich, and clubs from the Premier League have shown no further interest.
