FC Botoșani coach Marius Croitoru sets cautious transfer strategy for upcoming season

FC Botoșani is holding its pre‑season camp in Bulgaria as head coach Marius Croitoru emphasises squad continuity. He says the club’s advantage is "omogenitatea" – the fact that the core group of players has been retained and there have been no major departures.

Croitoru added that the team will not rush to sign players, preferring to add only a few quality replacements for key positions when market prices fall late in the transfer window. He reiterated that Botoșani aims to improve on last season’s campaign, which ended with a Conference League playoff, and that any offers for current players will be considered if they benefit both the player and the club.
