FC Botoșani owner Valeriu Iftime criticises coach Marius Croitoru's language after 2-2 draw

FC Botoșani patron Valeriu Iftime said he does not approve of coach Marius Croitoru's language used during training and the 2-2 away match against FC Voluntari, the opening fixture of the new SuperLiga season. Iftime compared Croitoru's behaviour in the second half to England manager Thomas Tuchel, claiming the coach was overly frightened by the game and that his remarks were turning players into enemies.

Iftime announced he will call Croitoru to discuss the issue, stressing the need for unity and professionalism as the club targets a playoff place. He expressed disappointment with the performance of specific players and reiterated that such conduct is unacceptable for the team.
