FC Burgwedel reaches third cup round after 10-year hiatus

FC Burgwedel has qualified for the third round of the Krombacher-Kreispokal for the first time in ten years following a 4-0 victory against FC Mecklenhorst. After a scoreless first half, Burgwedel took control in the second period with goals from Julius Mücke, Nikolas-Elias Mohr, Mika-Finn Sprotte, and Hendrik Seehausen.

This advancement follows a previous narrow victory against TSV Isernhagen, which required a penalty shootout after a 3-3 draw. The third round of the tournament is scheduled to take place between September 29 and October 1.
