FC Dallas signs Nigerian winger Daniel Job from Kongsvinger
FC Dallas has completed the permanent signing of Nigerian winger Daniel Job from the Norwegian club Kongsvinger IL. The 21-year-old attacker has signed a contract that runs through June 2030, with some reports indicating an option for an additional year.
The transfer fee is estimated to be approximately €4.5 million ($5.2 million), which represents a significant sum for a player moving from the Norwegian lower leagues. Job arrives in Major League Soccer following a productive period in Norway, where he recorded seven to eight goals and seven to nine assists in 19 to 20 appearances during the 2026 season.
FC Dallas Chief Soccer Officer Andre Zanotta praised the winger’s potential, noting that Job’s speed and ability to attack defenders will provide a dynamic option in the final third. Job is a right-footed player who primarily operates on the left wing.
