FC Famalicão futsal readies 2026/27 season with key renewals and Oscar Aranda comeback

FC Famalicão’s futsal squad is preparing for the 2026/27 campaign in the Portuguese top division. The club has not yet named a successor to coach Hugo Oliveira, who left for personal reasons after last season, but it is finalising its roster.

Key player renewals were announced, including captain Ruizinho, winger Rúben Santos, goalkeeper Guilherme Rego, goalkeeper Cláudio Carvalho, and veteran defender Buzuzu. In addition, forward Oscar Aranda, a 24‑year‑old Spanish striker who missed most of the previous season due to a serious knee injury, has completed his rehabilitation and participated in pre‑season matches. The club expects Aranda to be available for the upcoming league fixture against Arouca.
