FC Flora parts ways with head coach Konstantin Vassiljev

FC Flora has announced the end of its cooperation with head coach Konstantin Vassiljev. The decision was initiated by the club, ending a tenure that lasted just over one and a half years in his current coaching role.

Vassiljev has a long history with FC Flora, having spent a total of eight seasons at the club as both a player and a coach. During his time, he led the team to four Estonian championship titles, one Evald Tipner Cup, and three Estonian Super Cups. He also notably captained the team to the UEFA Conference League group stage during the 2021/2022 season.

Club sports director Taavi Trasberg thanked Vassiljev for his contributions, noting that his period as head coach included winning the Estonian championship and the Evald Tipner Cup. Vassiljev stated that he accepts the decision with a peaceful heart and expressed gratitude to the staff, players, and fans.

Karl Mööl, previously an assistant coach for the U21 and U17 teams, has stepped in as the acting head coach for FC Flora.
