FC Fredericia draws 1-1 with AB Gladsaxe in Danish 1st Division

FC Fredericia, recently relegated from the Superliga, earned a 1-1 draw away against newly promoted AB Gladsaxe in the Danish 1st Division. After dominating possession in the first half, Fredericia failed to convert chances. In the second half AB held firm, and the match was settled in added time when Nemo Thomsen scored his first goal for Fredericia to secure a point.

The result leaves Fredericia level on points with promotion rivals Vejle Boldklub, who beat HB Køge 2-0, and Esbjerg fB, who won 3-2 at Hillerød. The weekend’s fixtures also saw Kolding IF host Hvidovre IF, with the winner able to reach four points after two rounds.
