FC Germania Rothenbergen hosts 4th Maul Gartenbau Junior Cup

Approximately 450 youth footballers participated in the 4th Maul Gartenbau Junior Cup held at the FC Germania Rothenbergen sports grounds from August 14 to August 16. The tournament featured players from the G- to C-youth categories.

Winners were determined across three age classes: JSG Linsengericht won the C-youth category, 1. Gelnhäuser FC secured the D-youth title, and the host club, FC Germania Rothenbergen, won the E-youth division. For the youngest participants in the F and G categories, the focus remained on participation and enjoyment rather than formal rankings.

To manage high summer temperatures, organizers provided shaded areas, free water refills for players, and adjusted match durations where necessary to ensure athlete safety.
