FC Goa has been knocked out of the 2026-27 AFC Challenge League following a 1-2 defeat against Qadsia SC in Kuwait. The loss in their final Group C match ensures the Indian side finishes the campaign in third place with three points, having previously secured a single win against Bangladesh’s Fortis FC.

Qadsia SC secured the top spot in the group with a perfect record of three wins, qualifying as the sole team from the group for the quarter-finals. In the match, Hamza Khabba opened the scoring for the Kuwaiti hosts in the 10th minute with a header following a cross from Rashed Al Dosary. FC Goa responded in the 21st minute when Chiki equalized from close range after a header from Alex Zalaya.

Despite the momentum shift in the first half, Qadsia regained the lead in the 49th minute through a curling effort by Khabba. Qadsia continued to pressure the defense throughout the second half, with several close chances including a shot that struck the post in the 80th minute, but the score remained 2-1.
