FC Groningen and FC Twente match updates involve charity and travel warnings

FC Groningen will host FC Twente at the Euroborg stadium this Sunday. The match features a charitable component as Kids United, a G-football club, will conduct collections at all entrances. The club is raising funds for powerchair football, including the purchase of specialized powerchairs, balls, and goals for children with disabilities. Members of Kids United will participate in the pre-match festivities, the halftime entertainment, and a traditional penalty shoot-out.

Separately, FC Twente supporters traveling to their home match against Telstar on Wednesday must prepare for significant travel disruptions. Due to announced public transport strikes, regular trains and buses will not be running toward the De Grolsch Veste stadium. Because the match coincides with the evening rush hour, officials advise supporters to travel by car early or use bicycles. Shuttle buses from the University of Twente will remain operational.
