FC Juárez announces departure of sports president Andrés Fassi

FC Juárez has announced the immediate departure of Andrés Fassi from his role as the club's sports president. The club stated in a social media communication that the exit occurred “de mutuo acuerdo” (by mutual agreement) to align with the future plans and interests of both parties.

Fassi, an Argentine businessman and sports executive, has a long history in Mexican and Argentine football, including significant roles with Grupo Pachuca and Talleres de Córdoba. During his tenure with FC Juárez, the team reached the Play-In twice, including a quarter-final appearance in the Apertura 2025. The leadership change comes as the team sits at the bottom of the standings following eight consecutive losses.
