FC Kosice signs Ghanaian goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott

Ghanaian international goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott has signed a short-term contract with Slovak club FC Kosice. The deal runs until the end of 2026, with an option for the club to extend the agreement through 2027.

The 30-year-old, who was born in England and has earned 12 caps for Ghana, joins the squad to provide experience following the departure of Kevin Dabrowski. Wollacott will compete for the starting position against Matúš Kira and Filip Kalanin.

FC Kosice sporting director Terry Westley noted that the club sought an experienced professional who could integrate into the club culture and support the existing goalkeeping group. Wollacott previously played for several English clubs, including Bristol City and Charlton Athletic, as well as Hibernian in Scotland.
