FC Midtjylland eyes Brazilian midfielder Matheus Ferreira and Danish defender Magnus Jensen

FC Midtjylland has been linked with a move for 20‑year‑old Brazilian defensive midfielder Matheus Ferreira, who currently plays for São Paulo and is under contract until January 2028. Ferreira, a former Brazil U‑17 international, has attracted interest from Club Brugge, Osasuna, Santa Clara and several Brazilian clubs, but the Danish side is monitoring him as it rebuilds after exiting the Europa League qualifiers.

The club is also pursuing Sønderjyske centre‑back Magnus Jensen, 29, following the departures of Tobias Sommer and Olti Hyseni. Jensen is considered a key defensive asset, and Midtjylland aims to strengthen a back line weakened by injuries to Ousmane Diao and Han‑beom Lee.
