FC Midtjylland signs Nigerian midfielder Hassan Momodu Kashietu

Danish club FC Midtjylland has completed the signing of 18‑year‑old Nigerian midfielder Hassan Momodu Kashietu from partner club FC Ebedei. The teenager will join the club’s under‑19 squad and aims to break into the first team, saying, “I am very happy to be here… it’s a dream for me.”

FC Midtjylland’s Nigeria liaison, Jonas Dal, praised Kashietu’s physicality, work rate and technical development, noting his ability to win duels and read the game. The transfer continues the established talent pathway between FC Ebedei in Nigeria and the Danish side, which regularly recruits young West African players for its youth and development teams.
