FC Midtjylland threatens fan bans after racist incidents

Video footage from the area surrounding a match between OB and FC Midtjylland shows fans, some wearing FC Midtjylland jerseys, shouting racist slogans such as ‘Denmark for the Danes’ and ‘Is, Is, Israel’ toward a pro-Palestinian demonstration. The footage also depicts fans throwing beer cans and pushing a demonstrator.

Politician Victoria Velasquez expressed shock at the incident, noting the unacceptable nature of the verbal abuse. A participant in the demonstration has filed a police report regarding the confrontation.
