FC Nantes was required to wear an emergency all-white kit during their Ligue 2 match against AS Saint-Étienne at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard. The decision followed a ruling by the Direction de l'Arbitrage and the LFP, which rejected both the club's standard yellow home kit and their dark away kit due to insufficient color contrast with Saint-Étienne's green jerseys.
To resolve the issue, the club's kit manufacturer, Macron, provided an impromptu, off-catalog solution. The emergency uniform consisted of a white jersey featuring monochrome black branding for the club crest and manufacturer, paired with white shorts and white socks. Despite the unique appearance, the kit retained the club's regular sponsors, Synergie and Hellfest. FC Nantes lost the match 1-0.
