FC Nantes occupies 15th place in Ligue 2 following defeat

FC Nantes has secured 15th place in the Ligue 2 standings following the conclusion of the 10th matchday. Despite a 1-0 loss to league leaders AS Saint-Étienne, the team remains in the first non-relegation position.

The defeat to Saint-Étienne, which occurred in the final moments of the match due to a 90th-minute goal by Augustine Boakye, follows a previous 1-3 loss to Dunkerque. This marks two consecutive defeats for the squad managed by Grégory Poirier.

Currently holding 8 points, FC Nantes maintains a two-point lead over bottom-ranked Stade Lavallois. The team is scheduled to host Clermont, currently in 17th place, in a significant match for their fight against relegation.
