FC Nantes re-signs goalkeeper Patrik Carlgren

FC Nantes has confirmed the return of Swedish goalkeeper Patrik Carlgren. The 34-year-old, who left the club as a free agent in June, has signed a one-year contract with an option for an additional year.

Coach Grégory Poirier announced the move during a press conference, noting that the signing is intended to provide cover following a serious injury to Alexis Mirbach. While Carlgren returns to strengthen the squad, Poirier clarified that Maxime Dupé remains the team's primary goalkeeper. Poirier expressed full confidence in Dupé, stating that he will start the upcoming match against Sochaux due to his recent strong performances.
