FC Nantes senior team loses friendly while academy sees multiple wins

FC Nantes' professional team lost 3-1 to Le Mans FC in a closed-door friendly match played in four 30-minute periods. While the club has not released an official scoring report, summer recruit Ryad Hachem reportedly scored the lone goal for Nantes. The match served as preparation for the resumption of Ligue 2 competition on October 10 against Stade de Reims.

In contrast to the senior team's results, the FC Nantes academy saw significant success across multiple youth divisions. The U19 women's team secured a 2-0 victory against EA Guingamp, marking their second consecutive win. The U17 regional team defeated JSC Bellevue 3-1, while the U15 squad recorded a dominant 7-0 win over Les Sables VF. Additionally, the U14 regional team won 5-1 against Carquefou USJA.
