FC Nantes signs midfielder Wilitty Younoussa, promotes youth star Jalen Foucan

FC Nantes has completed the free‑transfer signing of 24‑year‑old Cameroonian midfielder Wilitty Younoussa from Rodez. The international, who previously played for Dijon and the Rodez reserve team, chose to stay in France and join the club under head coach Michel Der Zakarian, who likened him to N'Golo Kanté. The move is intended to strengthen the midfield as Nantes aims for promotion to Ligue 1.

In a separate announcement, 17‑year‑old academy prospect Jalen Foucan signed his first professional contract with Nantes, a three‑year deal running to June 2029.
