FC Nordsjælland ranked world leader in youth player development

A new report from the CIES Football Observatory identifies FC Nordsjælland as the world leader in providing playing time to young athletes. The study, which analyzed 50 major leagues, found that 48.1% of the Danish club's league minutes are played by players under the age of 21. This surpasses other notable clubs such as RC Strasbourg (37.9%) and Melbourne City (32.9%), as well as major European sides like Paris Saint-Germain (23%) and FC Barcelona (20.3%).

The club's model relies on a deep integration between its local academy in Farum and the Right to Dream academy in Ghana. This developmental pipeline is highlighted by the rise of 18-year-old Ivorian talent Safi N’Sira. Having trained at the Right to Dream academy since age 11, N’Sira has made a significant impact in her early professional appearances for FC Nordsjælland, earning praise from teammates for her connection and skill on the pitch.
