Westphalia amateur sports: FC Oeding revamps tournament, clubs claim titles
FC Oeding restructured its "Grenzpokal" tournament after FC Marbeck withdrew, moving from two groups to a five‑team round‑robin that runs from 31 July to 2 August. The teams – Oeding, DJK Stadtlohn, FC Vreden, SuS Stadtlohn II and TG Almsick – will each play four matches.
Blau‑Weiss Hollage opened its season with a derby against SC Melle. Trainer Lennart Süllow, who spent four years as a goalkeeper in Melle, missed the match while on holiday in Tuscany but praised his squad’s ambition.
